It was time for the first race….. At the time we only had an Kawasaki SX and a Kawasaki SXI-Pro. And it was obvious that we weren’t prepared for competition. When we got to the race we were really excited and we’re pumped to race. Since Anna was too old for the Juniors class and had not raced yet, she got to race the beginner class, and I raced Junior 10-12. We were racing against about 5 or 6 people. Even though we were on slower skis, that didn’t change anything, and we put up an epic fight. Anna got lapped, but I did awesome. After the racing was over my sister and I had both claimed a second place on the podium. Even though we didn’t win, we had so much fun. We couldn’t wait to race again.
Be excellent to each other,
