Over spring break my sister, Anna, and I went to Havasu to go out and ride. While we were there we did tons of cool stuff. I got to do special training with world champion Stian Schjetlein, he’s from Norway. On our second day in Havasu, we went to the Parker Strip to go check out the view. On the way there we made some surprise friends. There were some donkeys on the side of the road, so we stopped to take some pictures. As soon as we stopped, they came straight over to greet us and soon we had donkeys surrounding the car! On the third day of our vacation, I got to ride the women’s vintage Jet Ski legend, Kelly Borgen’s, X2. I think I had quite the talent for it.
Also while at Havasu, me and Anna got to get some one-on-one work with Team ProWatercraft and the awesome owner, Chris Hagest. While we worked with them we got some great riding tips and got all the great parts and gadgets for our skis to make sure that they turned like butter, steered like the wind, and were fast like lightning. We had our fill of all our favorite foods like: In-N-Out Burger, Del Taco, Mudsharks Pizza, Red Robin, Chipotle, and my new favorite, Subway. But sadly, our week had gone by too fast and it was time to go, but before we left we got to see all our friends and our favorite person, Rob Flores. Now that we’ve learned new riding techniques from Stian, and done other stuff, we can’t wait to go riding again.
Be excellent to eachother,
