ROUND TWO: The Pro Watercross US National Tour had its second round of racing in Pensacola Beach, FL this weekend. Mother nature made things interesting for the racers as they battled massive swells and churning water. Racers like Monster Energy/Bullett Racing rider Chris Macclugage, Kommander Industries/Rockstar Energy rider Dustin Motzouris, Team Faith’s Kelly Smith and Monster Energy/Kawasaki rider Eric Francis made light of the situation with impressive skill in these conditions. The racing was just as intense as the conditions as hundreds of racers battled for positions and points. The Pro Watercross Tour heads to Sparks, NV for the third round of racing, June 20-21.
UIM EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 1: Racers from all over Europe gathered in Croatia for the first round of the UIM European Championship series. This race featured a beautiful site and hundreds of talented racers. This race welcomed riders like Kevin Reiterer, Nacho Armillias, Beatriz Curtinhal, Jonna Borgstom, Stian Schjetlein and more. The classes were extremely competitive; the GP1 class was won by Kevin Reiterer, Nacho Armilias placed second and Mickael Poret placed third. The Ladies class was won by Beatriz Curtinhal, followed by Jonna Borgstrom and Jennifer Menard. Stian Schjetlein was the winner of the evening slalom event.
GOMER TAKE OVER: Mark Gomez’s partnership with GoPro made it as our Video of the Week, but Gomer didn’t stop there. His epic video collaboration with GoPro soared to over 100,000 views in one week. Mark Gomez is one of the busiest, hard working dudes in the industry. We just wanted to thank him for doing an awesome job of putting the Jet Ski world in the spotlight.
