USFC RND 1: Lake Havasu City

The U.S. Freestyle Championship held it’s first round last weekend in Lake Havasu City. We got official word from Ice Man himself on the event.

8928fa7c-87a5-4f35-8784-58cd77a62f7eThe first ever “freestyle only” event in the USA took place in the always sunny Lake Havasu City, Arizona on Saturday April 16th, 2016. US Freestyle Championship (USFC) is a new format of competition that separates freestyle from high speed racing on personal watercraft.  USFC has 4 classes, Freestyle Beginner Open, Freestyle 800, Freestyle 900 and Freestyle 1200.  All athletes perform a 2 minute routine and are judged by five different judges, each per one criteria: variety, difficulty, execution, flow and number of tricks. 17 riders from not only Arizona,  but California and Nevada, Texas, Virginia, Connecticut and Alaska took part in West Coast Round of US Freestyle Championship.
